had bad ear infections for months, doctor just keeps giving me antibiotics and drops……….takes pain and waxy feel away for while but it always comes back.
seen ear cleaners for sale but dont know what to buy?
suction hand-held cleaners look good, but syringing looks even better?
im not going back to my doctor, wont give me any more drops or antibiotics 4 now and i feel he is not treating my ear problem.

for a little while i have had more wax build up than normal so i was using cotton buds to remove the wax, which i most likely was putting to far in my ear. later my ear started to feel blocked so bought something that was meant to soften the wax which i used that night. the next morning i fainted with a few minutes of getting up and then again soon after (but i don’t remember) i also felt like i was going to be sick but i wasn’t. i went to the doctors this day where she looked in my ear i could not see anything. i was in A lott of pain and fainted again so they took my blood pressure which was normal. i was given antibiotics and some ear drops which i have been using for the last 2 and a half days. i do not feel dizzy but the pain in my ear has got worse, i know have the pain starting in my other ear and i can’t hear very much at all. not really sure whats going on but i just want the problem solved, so is there any advice on improving the situation or does anyone have a better idea what it is?
i recently started going to the swimming pool and my ears keep getting clogged up with water.
so i went to my doctor a few days later and he prescribed me antibiotics, pain killers and ear drops. i woke up this morning in so Much pain (sorry i didn’t get to sleep lol literally until about six o clock this morning no joke)
so i need to buy earplugs to keep the water out off my ears
i need ones with a suction seal (so they wont fall out) and they need to be able to float in case they do fall out (so i don’t have to swim to the bottom off the pool and get more water in my ears)
i need advice ps please provide the name off the recommended ear plug and a link were to buy them make sure they have a good suction seal and they wont fall out)

I have suffered for a minor case of tonsulitis recently and my doctor has given me some penicillin to take 4 times a day for the next week, i also complained of not being able to hear very clearly while i had this illness. My doctor said it might be realted to tonsulitis as the throat is linked to the ears, and gave me some nasal spray to clear my sinuses. Approximately one day later, i had gotten up quite quickly and my ear felt like it had been blocked up with water. Then, 2 hours later, i started to hear a high-pitched pinging noise in my ear, like a flatscreen TV turning on. i have looked up the causes of tinnitus online and it said that some medication might be the cause and i was wondering if anyone could provide me with further information on this, and to see if taking nasal spray/peniclilin is the cause. thankyou,
Also, I have always been prone to tonusolitis and have never had this problem with my ear before. Is it also possible that certain painkillers like paracetamol can cause this ?
P.S it is my left ear.
This tonsolitis infection had seemed to have turned into ulcers at the top of my throat, is tht the viral infection? And now the antibiotics seem to have no affect anymore on healing my throat.
In November I got water stuck in my right ear and for a week I tried everything to unstop it ..nothing worked.So then my other ear stopped up and they both started ringing so I went to the clinic and the nurse said I had an ear infection.I took 2 perscriptions of antibiotics but they didnt help the ringing or unstop them.So I went to see a specialist and he washed my ears out…"they were clogged with wax"and they came unstopped and the ringing stopped in one of my ears.The other didnt stop ringing and then they both began to ring again.So I went back to see him again and he said he couldnt see anything wrong with them..he said it was a nerve.But they are still ringing really bad and they flutter and itch..they pop and crackle..
Has anyone ever experianced something like this or have any advice.???
It just started, so I looked it up and it sounds like I have pulsatile tinnitus, which is when you hear your pulse/heartbeat in your ear. Mine is odd, though- I’ll hear it for a few seconds and then it’ll go away, then come back a few seconds later. And the beat is irregular, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. Is this a serious problem, should I go to the doctor’s for it? I was put on antibiotics because I often get ear infections… should I stop taking the antibiotics because of this? Or could it be the result of yet another ear infection?
Hello, 3 day ago I was cleaning my ear. I took out loads of wax (even I heart OK), but apparently I pushed some inside. I started to have a problem with hearing. Second day I went to the emergency as the ear started to pain pretty much. Doctor checked my ear and said, that she cannot see any wax inside and ear is slightly scratched on one side (what may cause the pain). She said there is nothing I can do about it.
Strange thing is, that my ear is BLOCKED. When I yawn or swallow, it’s OK for a second and then is blocked again.If there is no wax, what could block my ear? Yesterday I bought ear drops for removing the wax, but no difference at all. I put warm olive oil into my ear, no difference. I went into the hot shower and was trying to splash out my ear, but no difference. I have still pain in the ear and now even I swallow, the situation is still bad.
Tomorrow I should go for a HOLIDAY. I have already booked it at work, bought fly tickets and so. But it wouldn’t be a holiday, as I cannot swim, go out and sleep under the tent.
What should I do? Does anybody know what might be going on? Doctor told me, that this can take few weeks, but my 2 weeks holiday starts from tomorrow.
The reason why I’m asking here is, because I’m not sure about what that doctor told me. Today I’ll go to see GP.

Can I see an allergist that also specialises in sinus problems or should I see an ENT? I have a sinus problem/infection that is lasting over a month on antibiotics.
My GP referred me to an ENT in their clinic but I can’t get an appointment until mid April.
This started last August and I treated it some then let it go away on its own. It came back in November I treated it for a week. It went away and it came back in mid January and I have had it ever since. I have tried several different antibiotics and decongestants, etc.
