Anyone Else Have Tinnitus?
I know heaps of people have it, but does anyone like me, only hear it (most of the time) when there is no other sorrounding sounds. Like when i am around a tv or a computer, i can’t really notice the sounds in my ears, but mainly i can when i put my head against a pillow, or wear ear muffs. The most annoying part of what i have is, when i am in a room with no sound, or outside and it is quiet, it sounds like a motor running in my head, so i always sleep with the fan on and music, otherwise its too annoying. Anyone else have this?

I always experience tinnitus when it’s quiet around me, ALWAYS. and, the fact that I am deaf, oh it just sucks at night sometimes as I hear the tinnitus constantly and I can’t do anything about it. I like to think that my brain is used to hearing things constantly when I wear my hearing aid, so when there is no sound or my hearing aid is off, my brain is making up for the lack of noise…. That’s my theory for my case anyway.
yes. I got mine in the 70’s. and the older I get, the worse it gets. I will one day be totally deaf.
